Happy Easter!

We had a lovely Easter Sunday at home!  We had our annual  Easter egg hunt in the backyard in the morning before Church.  The kids filled up their baskets and loved it!  It was fun to have warm weather and sunshine this year.  Here are some pictures from our festivities.

American River 50 Mile Run

Our family volunteered at an aid station on the American River 50  Mile Endurance Run.  We were at the Main Bar Aid Station at mile 19.  We helped the runners re-fuel and direct them where to go.  The kids did great with cheering and helping out.  The runners really loved seeing our kids along the way and many thanked us for volunteering.  It was fun to watch all of the different runners and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the American River.  

After we were done volunteering we drove to the finish line in Auburn and watched the finishers come across the finish line.  We all were impressed.   They looked like they had just finished a 10k not 50 miles.   Here are some pictures.

Camping in Yosemite.

Over Spring Break we took the kids to Yosemite National Park.  We camped in the Upper Pines Campground and  had a wonderful trip.  We couldn't believe how beautiful it was.  Unfortunately, we forgot to bring the camera so we had to use Daddy's cell phone camera.  We at least got a few pictures of the nice scenery.  We love living so close to lots of beautiful places.
