Alex participated in the Science fair with his 2 best friends Evin and Kabilan. They chose to measure the distance paper airplanes flew based on the width of the wings. They had a lot of fun learning about "lift" and coming up with the ideas and testing their hypothesis. They made a nice power-point with lots of animated gif's. Here are some pictures from the day they tested their planes in our hallway.
Lily made a rain forest diorama to put on display at her schools open house night. It was an optional project, but sounded very fun. She could have help from family. So mom and Lily planned it out and then made the project together. It was a fun activity too. We really like how it turned out and we learned a lot about the rain forest in the process.
