Beach House with Oma and Grandpa

Oma and Grandpa flew to California from Utah the week before Alex's Baptism.  So we rented a beach house in Bodega Bay for a few day's to get away and relax.  It was wonderful.  Everyone had a fun time.  We went to the beach everyday and on long walks along the ocean. We drove up to the Armstrong Redwoods State Park one day and went for a picnic and walk in the forest of Redwoods.  We also enjoyed watching the World Cup together and playing card games at night.  Oh, and we can't forget eating fish and chips, and clam chowder at a little shack on the coast.  What a fun trip!!!  We love you Oma and Grandpa thanks for coming to California!

Alex turns 8

 We celebrated Alex's 8th Birthday this week.  Mom made him a Lego brick cake.  We opened presents and then watched the Lego movie afterward.  It was a fun night.   We sure love our boy.  He is such a good kid.  He has a kind heart and is a good friend to his sisters.  We love him lots!
