We had a Saturday free of soccer games, so we decided to take a little family trip. We drove down to Point Reyes National Seashore. We went to Drakes Beach and ate lunch and played in the sand. It was absolutely beautiful and everyone had a good time.
After washing off the sand we drove up to the Lighthouse. Alex loved seeing the inside of it and how it worked. At the visitor center we talked with the Ranger about wale watching and he said the best time is at the end of March when the Mother's swim with their calves up the shore. We will have to come back and see them then.
After the light house we were all tired and so we drove home. We saw San Fransisco and the Golden Gate bridge on the drive home. It was a fun family adventure!
Lily fell asleep eating Oreos on the ride home...thus the black hands and face. :)
ReplyDeleteWere you the only people there? It looks amazing. I love getting to know new places.
ReplyDeleteThere was a group of people closer to the parking lot, but it was a pretty quiet day. It was really beautiful!
