Their visit started of a little rough. We thought we were over the stomach flu from the week before, but on Wednesday night Mom (Tauna) and Catherine both got sick. Then Tommy the next night. We were still able to squeeze in lots of fun activities, and we were all recovered by the time Uncle Ken, Uncle Mark, and Aunt EJ came. Here are some pictures from all of the fun things we did.
Buying fresh Mandarins from the Mandarin farm.
Exploring Sutter's Mill
Hiked on the Western States Trail.
Finding the bridge that is usually underwater in Folsom Lake.
Yummy Dinner together.
Mom took the Johnson and Walnut Creek Sanderson's family portraits before Church. These are her two favorites.
We were so happy to have our cousins and family here. It was nice to visit and explore together. The kids all played together really well. We were sad to say goodbye at the end of the week! We hope they come back soon.
It was really fun to see all your pictures! Thanks for taking the family portrait of us.
ReplyDeleteCaty: Let's read that again and again and again.
Tom: I liked going to the bridge in Folsom Lake that is sometimes covered by water. It usually is.
Scerinda: There are a couple of really beautiful pictures of Lily on the rock. You should blow those up and frame them.
Caty: Let's go back and buy all of the oranges they have!
Scerinda: Good idea!
Sam: That would cost a million dollars.
Scerinda: Looking at those oranges made me hungry. They were so good! Word of advice: if you ever go to Folsom for a visit, pick Thanksgiving when the mandarins are ripe.
Tom: We walked clear from the car to the bridge and it was a long way and it was super hard and we did good exercise and whenever you move a part of your body, you're exercising.
Caty: Looking at those oranges made me hungry too!
Sam: Can we come next summer?
Thanks for the great week!
Such beautiful photos. Ruth and I enjoyed them so much. We want to go with you to all those places and be with cousins. It looks like so much fun.
