We also took a trip to Old Town Sacramento for Presidents Day. We walked through the town and explored all of the little shops. For every one novelty store there were 2 candy stores. The kids loved it, but Mommy and Daddy weren't too excited about it. We enjoyed the little school house and toy store then walked back to our car. There was still some daylight so we decided at the last minute to go to UC Davis and walk around the arboretum. We all loved looking at the new blossoms and exploring all of the cool plants and trees.

Catching up...
We have had a busy and fun couple of weeks. We enjoyed making Valentines boxes this year for Family Home Evening and then giving each other valentines.

Alex suddenly looks older to me in these pictures. His face looks thinner and less baby-chubby.
ReplyDeleteI love the old-fashioned schoolroom! The row of bonnets on pegs is adorable. I think it would be fun to visit that.
They have a big railroad museum that looks really fun, that we skipped this time. When you come someday we can check it out. :)

ReplyDeleteYou're having so much fun! What a beautiful place. I love all the plants. Your magnolias are already blooming! Ours are in bud, so maybe soon. Thanks for all the pictures. I wish we could all be at the beach together. Is Sarah left handed? Elias is too. (I deleted my previous post so I could ask that question.)
ReplyDeleteWe are really enjoying it! Sarah is left handed. I didn't know Eli was. She gets the gene from both sides of our families. It is fun to see how each kid is so different. Congratulations on you new one on the way! Very fun. :)
